BIB 438 - Biblical Perspectives for Educators

Recommended prior coursework: BIB 314 . This course is a unique blend of study in the Bible with an eye toward key aspects related to being "the people of God." As such, it is neither strictly Bible survey, nor merely a topics course. Texts covers a range of literature, styles and time periods, which are representative of biblical material as a whole, and explore topics key to understanding the dynamics of community living, ordering, leadership, fragmentation, coherence, power, and wholeness. Improved skills for reading and understanding the Bible, creative thinking and application are all goals.
