EDUC 902 - Bullying and Violence in Schools

This course is designed to strengthen K-12 teachers, administrators, counselors, and other school professionals' awareness and response to students who are victims of bullying and violence in our school and homes. Participants will also learn to better help students who respond to conflicts and difficulties with undue aggression and violence. Various forms of prevention within the classroom, campus, and larger school community will be explored. Intervention plans will be developed to meet needs of either a specific victim or perpetrator of aggression and violence.

NOTE: Required textbook must be purchased separately.
