EDUC 911 - Rethinking HomeworkCredits: 3 You either love homework or hate it. Whether you align yourself closer to the no-homework camp or to the pro-homework camp, it is inevitable that homework will always be a part of our educational landscape. It is the cause of more friction between administrators, teachers and families than any other aspect of education. This online course is designed to help all stakeholders grapple with the cyclic homework battle. We'll work together to find common ground that will turn homework into a cooperative effort that promotes learning while at the same time force the educator to grapple with their own philosophy of homework. Learn variations in homework that can influence academic achievement and how parents affect the homework process.
NOTE: Required textbooks must be purchased separately.
