Explore the significant contributions of women in math and science, and be inspired by those who made strides and conquered several obstacles. Women faced prejudice in the pursuit of excellence. Inspire your students by sharing the experiences of the women who opened the doors of opportunity for women in a predominantly male-dominated field. The reasons why women in the field of math and science are underrepresented will be explored. Important contributions made by women will be acknowledged and geared for grades 3-12. This course will be an enticing study of the contribution of women in math and science.
