Explore the natural history of Yosemite National Park and the Sierra Nevada Mountains through text, video and the rich resources found on the Internet, including virtual tours and optional site visits. The wildlife, ecosystem, and geological uniqueness of the Sierras will leave a lasting impression as you discover and share the richness and value of this national treasure. Students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned as they develop integrated lessons for their classroom that align to state, district or national standards, including the Common Core Standards.
