TEC 963 - Digital Storytelling: Photo Story 3

Using a project-based approach for this online course, students will develop a slide show or movie that can be created using popular programs including Movie Maker, iMovie, PowerPoint and Photo Story 3. Each project is directly tied to specific ISTE National Educational Technology Standards and the CCSS. This course focuses on the power of storytelling, a method of communicating going back to ancient civilizations, using digital tools. The course addresses the ELA standards for speaking and writing as well as the content being covered. The participant will develop meaningful lessons centered on their student's needs that also meet subject matter standards and framework requirements. This course is applicable to all grade levels.
