Explore the historical development and impact of ancient Greece, the birthplace of democracy, philosophy and many other aspects of life that we take for granted today. Utilizing national social studies standards, course content and assignments will emphasize research as well as practical application of ancient Greece's influence on our modern world. This course is recommended for social studies/history teachers grades 5-12 or any educator. interested in a deeper understanding of the world of ancient Greece and its impact on our own day.
