EDU 929 - Real World Authentic Learning

Deepen your understanding about the role real world, authentic learning plays in student success. Connect students to the real world through practical, exciting authentic learning experiences and investigations that spark interest, deepen content knowledge, and challenge thinking of the 21st Century learner. Explore ideas, observe lessons and develop meaningful tasks. Create a personalized toolkit filled with 25+ innovative self-selected strategies and real-world ideas and an integrated project/unit of study designed specifically to meet your unique needs, K-12, any content area.  An emphasis on literacy, strategic use of technology and performance assessments are integrated throughout. Course aligns with state/CCSS, CCR and NSBTS standards.
