EDU 930 - Student - Centered LearningCredits: 3 Inspire and encourage active meaningful participation, collaboration, and quality task completion. You will learn student-centered activities that motivate your students. Gather a wide variety of fresh resources, observe best-practice strategies and collect standards/CCSS-aligned lessons that meet your needs, any core area, K-12. The what, why and how of student-centered learning, collaboration and 21st Century skills provide multiple opportunities to investigate, assess, evaluate and plan student-centered, student-directed and student-produced units of study. You will create a distinctive toolkit loaded with 30+ useful, self-selected ideas and exit with a developed practical project or unit of study. An emphasis is placed on the integration of literacy and technology across the curriculum. This online course aligns with CCSS, CCR, & NSBTS.
