HIST 422 - Lincoln and LeadershipCredits 1 Examines the life and times of Abraham Lincoln as a means of gleaning further insight into this critical period of American history. The impact of Lincoln's leadership on the presidency and the nation, as well as the characteristics that made him great, are analyzed. There is also an attempt to distinguish the real Lincoln from the mythology, including an analysis of what the Lincoln mythology tells about American values and civilization. Degree completion only. May not be audited.
