Course 2 of a 2-part series: Provides clinical pharmacological theories and concepts needed to provide safe nursing practice in conjunction with principles of pathophysiology, using a system approach, as applied to current health care practices with an examination of human body systems and disease processes. Current research related to selected major health problems is discussed and evaluated to emphasize evidence-based practice across the human life span. Includes legal and ethical considerations related to pharmacological agents and products.
