LLC 796 - Literacy Research ProjectCredits: 2 Candidates will finalize their culminating Action Research project building on the foundational research course, LLC 795. Candidates will continue to examine action research as a form of self-reflective systematic inquiry by practitioners on their own practice to prepare them to do action research in schools. Additionally, this course strives to promote the development of professional community and candidates' recognition of their own expertise. Topics include an analysis of collaborative forms of research, ways to identify problems to investigate, the selection of appropriate research methods, collecting and analyzing data, and ways to draw conclusions from their research. Prerequisite: LLC-795 Graded Credit/No Credit. May not be audited.
