MTHE 765 - History of Mathematics2 Units The course will cover the important ideas in the development of mathematics from ancient times to the present. The study will include the life stories of some of the great mathematicians who created much of the mathematics taught today. Participants will become familiar with the history of mathematics and will develop materials to facilitate the integration of this knowledge into their courses. May not be audited
