NURS 750 - Tertiary Prevention: Older Adults3 Units Focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic disease management, care coordination and long-term care to manage and maintain clients through the life span. Explores the theoretical base for tertiary prevention for families in primary/acute care settings. Assessment and management of chronic conditions requiring reconstitution are reviewed. The development of protocols/algorithms for tertiary prevention is learned. The integration of knowledge related to primary, secondary and tertiary prevention is emphasized as a basis for promoting and maintaining healthcare. Prerequisites: NURS 745
