The outdoors and nature have a special way of capturing the attention of young people. Nature has a great deal to offer and is an ideal instrument in which to integrate other curricular areas and teach required skills and standards. The study of the outdoors/nature can be brought into any classroom and used as a tool to create interest and motivate students.
