PPP 793B - BCBA Supervised Experiences

Fieldwork experience in California public schools under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Emphasis is placed on continuing to develop an understanding of and the ability to use theory, skills, and knowledge related to the responsibilities of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. An integrated approach matching practical, related experiences with theoretical training will be used. Supervision is based on current BCBA experience standards. A practicum requires a total of 1,000 hours. One unit of PPP 793B allows for 80-100 hours of experience; therefore, a student must complete 10 units. Students have 5 years to complete these requirements once they start.
