Narrative is a way to understand the world. The stories we hear, tell, and partake in shape the trajectory of our lives and societies. This course investigates narrative from a rhetorical perspective, examining narratives across disciplines with a focus on how narratives constitute collective experiences of community, life, and meaning across various discourse communities. The course meets capstone requirements for English and Communication majors.
