COUN 750B - Cross-Cultural Counseling: Core CompetenciesCredits 1.5
Recommended prior coursework: COUN-724. This course will seek to build awareness, knowledge, and skills through experiential exercises and reflection, personal immersive experiences, guest speakers, and case studies. The focus will center on cultivating cultural humility, developing culture specific knowledge, and implementing culturally responsive counseling skills. Theological themes will be explored throughout the course.
