HIST 436 - Colonial and Revolutionary America3 Recommended prior coursework: HIST 150 Traces the American experience from the beginning of colonization through the revolution and the development of the Constitution. Examines the social, religious, political and economic development of the colonies. Pays particular attention to the establishment of the colonies, the interaction with Native Americans, Puritan New England, the Great Awakening, the consumer revolution, the American Revolution, the establishment of the new nation and the writing of the Constitution.
