MATH 420 - Real Analysis3 Recommended prior course: MATH 350 Students study logic, set relations, functions, sequences, continuity, differentiation and an introduction to the Riemann Integral. An emphasis is placed on developing the ability to handle definitions, theorems and proofs. A course goal is the deepening of the student's understanding of the logical foundations of single-variable differential and integral calculus. Prerequisites: MATH 220
