SW 300 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment3 Recommended prior coursework: PSY 120 SOC 120 This course provides a basic understanding of the nature of human behavior from a life-span development perspective using systems theory. It enables the student to explore the interrelationship of biological, psychological, social/cultural and spiritual systems to discover how they affect human growth, development and behavior throughout the life cycle. Course content is designed to help students integrate the various explanatory schemes and consider their implications for social work practice.
