Peacemaking and Conflict Studies Certificate Program

The certificate program in peacemaking and conflict studies (15 units) is designed for professional and lay people with bachelor's degrees who wish to develop additional expertise in a particular area of the field. They require graduate-level coursework connected to the Master of Arts in Peacemaking and Conflict Studies. Certificates may be completed independently or may constitute a portion of the master's degree program. Other university graduate programs offer variations on these certificates. Admissions Requirements
- Three current reference forms
- Interview with program director
- Letter of explanation for GPA below the minimum of 2.75
- Academic writing sample
People applying for the certificate program in school conflict management must also have a teaching credential or be currently employed in a school counseling or leadership position.
