				Program Director: Whitney Wall Bortz, Ph.D. OverviewThe liberal studies minor is designed for use with a discipline- focused major for students who wish to keep career options open at graduation. The discipline-focused major offers options of teaching at a junior high or high school level, entering a career that requires a focused major or entering graduate school in a discipline. The minor provides key courses for the preparation of future elementary teachers, including courses with content important for passing CSET. Program Student Learning Outcomes
