Return to: School of Arts and Sciences
Program Director: Darren Duerksen, Ph.D.
Overview
The minor in peacemaking and conflict studies adds significant value to any major. It is especially relevant for careers that involve working intensely with people -- in business, church and other ministries, counseling, education, public service, criminology, and social work.
The minor consists of a three-course interdisciplinary core designed to develop an understanding of conflict, justice, and peacemaking based on biblical principles and current practices; plus two electives.
