BIOL 441L - Cell and Molecular Biology LabCredits 1 This course provides a fundamental understanding of the scientific method, the cell, cellular structure, cellular respiration, DNA processes, protein synthesis, cellular reproduction, and genetics. Additional modern molecular biology techniques are presented including: genetic engineering, cloning, gene expression, sequencing and genetic analysis. This course prepares the student to develop the following critical skills: independent thinking, lab management, record keeping, and project development. Laboratory, 45 hours. Lab fee. BIOL-441 (Required, Previous or Concurrent) May not be audited.
