KIN 481 - Research in Exercise Science

Recommended prior coursework: KIN-401/L and KIN-406/L. In-depth review and application of the research process from beginning to end with emphasis on the writing aspects of research. This includes research question and hypothesis formation, identification and analysis of relevant literature, research study design and methodology to address the research question, appropriate statistical procedures, presenting results, deriving appropriate conclusions, and development of a research manuscript. Application of these topics will occur by way of students designing their own research project proposal.
