LA 381 - Introduction to Teaching

A seminar course with a focus on learning communities for which the multiple subject credential is required of its teachers. The course examines the roles and responsibilities of elementary school teachers as well as an overview of the requirements to become a teacher in California. Students will be involved in analysis and evaluation of classroom observations in relation to academic studies of the multiple subject program.
