MATH 345 - Numerical Analysis

Recommended prior coursework: MATH-230 or MATH-335. An introduction and analysis of select techniques for the efficient numerical solution of problems in science and engineering. Topics include numerical solutions to linear systems of equations and nonlinear equations, numerical techniques for solving the algebraic eigenvalue problem, and numerical differentiation and integration. In addition, sources and propagations of error are considered.
