PE 146 - Backpacking

This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge necessary for a safe and fun beginning backpacking experience, including wilderness appreciation and responsibility, basic first aid, gear selection, and planning and packing for trips. The course will include at least one backpacking trip. There is an additional $70 lab fee to cover expenses for the trip.
Repeatable for credit. May not be audited. Graded Credit/No Credit.
