PSY 471 - Cross-Cultural Psychology

Recommended prior coursework: PSY-397 and PSY-410. Provides students with the opportunity to view psychology from a cross-cultural lens. Psychological research and practice is examined and critiqued from a non-Western socio-cultural perspective. Students will also become familiar with how ethnocentrism, privilege, and bias impact our understanding and interaction with people from cultures different than our own.
PSY-120 or PSY-120H (Required, Previous).
