SOC 301 - Culture and Community Engagement

This course provides an introduction to community engagement and the importance of empowering individuals and communities in ways that are culturally relevant and intentionally transformational. The course focuses in particular on the skills important for researching and analyzing cultural communities (qualitative research/cultural ethnography) and our own cultural/social locations as community engagement workers/teachers.
