SW 300 - Human Behavior in the Social EnvironmentCredits 3 Recommended prior coursework: PSY-120, SOC-120. This course provides a basic understanding of the nature of human behavior from a life-span development perspective using systems theory. It enables the student to explore the interrelationship of biological, psychological, social/cultural, and spiritual systems to discover how they affect human growth, development, and behavior throughout the life cycle. Course content is designed to help students integrate the various explanatory schemes and consider their implications for social work practice.
