BIOL 336 - ImmunologyCredits 3 This course provides an introduction to the cellular and molecular mechanisms of the immune system. Topics covered include innate and adaptive immunity, antigen presentation, T-cell activation, B-cell development, cytokine signaling, and apoptosis. The course introduces the immunology literature and also explores the use of immunologic methods in research and clinical diagnosis. Lecture, 45 hours.
