ATH 929 - Concussion in Sports

This course provided an introduction to sport concussions, including brain anatomy, causes of concussions and what happens to the brain when someone sustains a concussion. Signs, symptoms, and short and long-term effects to the brain when someone sustains a concussion. Signs, symptoms and short and long-term are reviews. Successful completion of this course leads to certification of completion by the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) in Concussion in Sports.
