BIB 902 - An Overview of the Bible

This course provides an overview of the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. The course examines the composition of the biblical documents, and gives an overall analysis of the themes and storyline of the Bible. The final module introduces students to effective Bible study and teaching skills. Students will learn not only the overall content of the Bible but will be prepared through a series of assignments to effectively teach several unites of study in this core document of the Christian faith and Western Civilization. Aligned with Common Core Standards for History/Social Studies.
