MATH 420 - Real AnalysisCredits: 3 Recommended prior course: MATH 350 Recommended prior coursework: MATH-350. Students study logic, set relations, functions, sequences, continuity, differentiation and an introduction to the Riemann Integral. An emphasis is placed on developing the ability to handle definitions, theorems and proofs. A course goal is the deepening of the student's understanding of the logical foundations of single-variable differential and integral calculus. Prerequisite: MATH-220
