Program Director: Doug Bartsch, Ed.D., Visalia
John Mendiburu, Ed.D., Bakersfield
Overview
The administrative services program offers work leading to a preliminary credential, an intern credential, a clear credential and a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in administrative services.
The preliminary credential, the intern credential, and the clear credential programs focus on the needs of the school site administrator.
The programs are entirely competency-based and have an emphasis on practicality, with a close relationship to school districts in the Central Valley of California. Up to 9 units of credit from an accredited graduate program in administration or a related area may be transferred into the administrative services program, where such courses are judged by the program director to be equivalent to those required in the graduate program. All other provisions of the general graduate policy on transfer of credit shall apply. A maximum of 6 units may apply to the preliminary credential program.
